MAESTRO Does 'Mayhem' for SCBU

My name is Shane Farrell. I am married with three children. I live a very hectic lifestyle as a Musical Director while also in college doing a B.A. in Music & Theology.
For the last decade I have struggled with my weight. During my teenage years I developed medical problems with my kidneys and it will continue to be a lifelong condition for me. This has resulted in me staying in hospital for long periods, having numerous surgeries/treatment and in general being too unwell to be exercising.
Five years ago, I started this challenge weighing my heaviest at 24 stone 4 pounds….enough was enough and it was time to do something about it. I lost 5 stone and took on challenges along the way whilst raising money for charities.
Lately I have been back to old habits ….excuses, excuses….. and more excuses!!
January 9th 2017, I weigh 19 stone 9 pounds. I am getting back into this challenge again to work my ass off to reach that golden number 14 stone on the scales. It may take me years, but I will see it through.
I am going to plan different challenges along the way and try to raise much-needed funds.

5k Mud Run Obstacle Course
The Mayhem Challenge course is located at Kedrah Castle in Cahir, Tipperary.
We all know how hard it is to see little babies in SCBU, but they are being well looked after by such amazing staff. Help us raise much needed funds for the fabulous SCBU in Portiuncla Hospital in Ballinasloe.
