MADONNA RENEWAL CENTER RENOVATION
MISSION STATEMENT
Motivated by love, the Madonna Renewal Center will empower pregnant women who carry their babies to term but struggle with the tough decision and challenges of unprepared motherhood, and their child in need by upholding self-worth and teaching them to love and cherish life; in accordance with the Charism of Immaculate Heart Sisters and the teachings of the Catholic Church
OUR VISION
Madonna Renewal Center is a safe haven that will offer hope and healing to women in need. A 12 to 24 month program for young adult pregnant women and their infants. The objective is to empower women through variety of structured curriculum that nurture personal worth and love for their children. The curriculum will aid each person to acquire self-esteem and develop practical life skills for employment and independent living.
FUNDS ACQUIRED
Money raised will be used to prime the building with lead encapsulating paint immediately to prevent further peeling of the walls and ceilings. This is the first step of Phase II with which now endeavor earnestly to begin. Phase II includes: plumbing, sprinkler system, electrical, fire alarm system, painting, dry wall and elevator upgrade. At the same time or shortly after, we need to renovate and re-model the chapel, kitchen, cafeteria, office space, bedrooms, living rooms, library, computer room, as well as replace carpets, tiles, ceilings, windows and doors. If you are unable to provide a monetary gift we are always looking for volunteers or your prayers! Please contact the Sisters if you would like to volunteer.
