Madelynn's Brain Cancer Battle

Hey everyone! My name is Sandra and I want to thank you for taking the time to check out my campaign! I am reaching out to everyone to help raise funds for my niece Madelynn. She is a 17 year old senior who just received all the freedom in the world of a drivers license. She just began running start at the nearby community college. She has a beautiful imagination which really shines through in her photography and in her artwork.
Normally on the 30th of October most teenagers are putting the final touches on their costumes and feeling anxious to show them off to their friends and classmates. This year was very different for Madelynn. She was admitted to the emergency room after suffering from a major seizure while hanging out with some friends at home. That night she was transferred to Children’s hospital in Seattle after it was discovered that she had a large mass on the left side of her brain. The days following brought more heartbreaking news. She will start her first chemotherapy treatment this week, she finished 6 weeks of radiation prior. Madelynn has a strong support system around her; family, a whole host of tight knit friends, and family friends. It goes without saying that this is going to be a very trying time for this whole family.
My goal for this campaign is to raise enough funds to enable her mom to stay with her at home through treatment, and maybe even send Madelynn and her family on the adventure of a lifetime and create some amazing memories together.
