Keep Maddie's Mitten March Rolling!

Maddie's Mitten March is rasing funds to continue its growth.
While the support we receive from our followers and community is nothing short of amazing, the reality is that as we grow the cost of doing business increases. Such costs occur from having to maintain a bus, providing insurance, fuel for the bus and purchasing coats for individuals when we don't have their size are among some of our continuing costs.
As Maddie's Mitten March expands, the need for additional space has become apparent. The operations now occur all year. During the warm months donations keep coming in, coats and other items are sorted and washed, and items are stored until distributions begin in the fall. The increase in donated clothing, the addition of washers and dryers to launder the smaller items and the space needed to sort and store everything has outgrown our donated space. We are also eyeing a second bus to increase our distribution capabilities and have a back-up if we have a problem with the first bus. While we all understand vehicles break down, those that are cold depend on Maddie's Mitten March to be there when scheduled.
As a reminder, all donations to Maddie's Mitten March are tax deductible and we are a 501c3 non-profit corporation. All monies goes towards the mission and no individual recieves any payment, we are all volunteers.
Maddie's Mitten March is looking to raise $8500. We believe that will help meet our goal of renting space and providing maintenance to the bus (or buses) through the 2018 calendar year.
