Norwalk Youth Wrestling Club is a non profit 501(c)3 whose primary goal is to develop a vibrant youth wrestling program in the community to feed the local high school programs with kids that have a love for the sport and have mastered basic wrestling skills.

Norwalk Youth Wrestling - Fundraising Appeal
5 years ago the Norwalk Youth Wrestling Club (AKA Mad Bulls) was formed. We started with 20 wrestlers and by the end of the season we were down to 12. That first year we purchased a mat, made a mat by hand, and practiced on an old basketball court out of the now closed Norwalk YMCA. Humble Beginnings! This fall we expect 115 wrestlers to start the season and that would make us the largest wrestling club in the State of Connecticut!

Why have we grown?
1. It's the quality of the product we put out on the mat as well as the tight bond we have forged between the coaches, parents and community.
2. All the board members, coaches and parents are volunteers. We do this for the love the sport as well as the positive character building experiences wrestling has to offer.
3. Being a 100% volunteer organization allows us to welcome parents enabling them to provide their time, treasure and talent.

What we need:
The Norwalk Youth Wrestling Board Members has determined that we need to raise $15,000 to support our phenomenal growth and expand our off-season training opportunities. This will ensure we can not only sustain our growth but take the Norwalk Youth Wrestling Club to the next level, with even more regionally and nationally ranked wrestlers.

Specifically the need is as follows:
· Purchase of a 40 X 40 competition mat, wall pads and post pads for off-season wrestling clinics and in-season practices. $8,500
· Continued development of the girls wrestling program. $1,000
· Payment for use of off-season facilities for additional training. $1,500
· Purchase of climbing ropes, pull up bars and resistance bags. $1,500
· Purchase of wall padding and crash pads allowing us to work on our upper body throws. $1,000
· Payment for technique sessions hosted by top notch NCAA clinicians. $1,500

As a club we are proud in what we have accomplished in 5 years and are looking forward to a bright future with your continued support.

The Norwalk Youth Wrestling Club thanks you in advance for your support!
