Macy's Day Parade for Central High School student

This fundraiser is for the opportunity of a lifetime for an incredible young woman, Daja, at Central High School. Let me start by sharing some background.

We have an incredible teacher at Central High School, Ms. Graf, who teaches dance, leads the Central Dance Company and coaches the pom team. This past summer, she took a team (for the first time in many years) to a pom camp. They excelled and were voted by their fellow campers at the "model" team.

Two students in particular received significant honors--Monique and Daja. Monique received the senior leadership award. Daja received the best hip hop dancer at camp. They made the all stars, and, as a result, are invited to dance in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and attend a week-long dance event in New York. Fortunately, the Central High School Foundation stepped in and offered to provide some funding, but they can only support one student. 

I've created this Go Fund Me to support Daja's experience at the event and to give her the chance to dance in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade--an honor she earned. Our goal is $2,800, which is the cost of the event and travel expenses. We'll conclude the Go Fund Me after we reach that goal. All funds will go to the Central High School Foundation to support Daja's trip.
