Macqy's medical fund

Hello everyone, I'm starting this campaign on behalf of my best friend, Macquillin Shobhana who has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of colon cancer. For those of you that do not know her, she is an extraordinary human being - cheerful, loving, unbelievably strong and puts her family and friends before herself. 

She underwent surgery during the last week of August to remove the cancer. But being an aggressive form, it has spread to other parts of the body. As a result, she will have to undergo 12 rounds of chemotherapy during the course of the next one year. The total cost for this medical treatment is 25 lakh rupees (approx. 39,000 USD). 

I cannot imagine the stress and difficulty that she and her family are going through now, so I wanted to reach out to all my friends and hers' so that we can come together and do the best we can to make this a little easier for them.

Mac has always been the kind of person who stepped up when someone needed help or if something had to get done. Now, it's time for us to send back some of that love and support to her.
