Help Save Macaroni

My name is Matt and this handsome puppy is Macaroni. He's a 6 month old golden retriever and is the happiest puppy I've ever met. He loves meeting new dogs and makes it his mission to always be the dirtiest pup leaving the park. I am in the Army, but am fortunate enough to be able to bring Mac to work with me everyday, and he has become somewhat of a team mascot. Wednesday morning Macaroni woke up and was having difficulty breathing so we rushed him to the emergency vet. The cause is still unknown, but within 12 hours he had developed severe pneumonia, a fever of 105, and fluid built up in his chest cavity. We have done everything the vet has recommended and have surpassed a $11,000 vet bill just to keep Macaroni stable with an IV, supplemental Oxygen, a chest tube to keep his lung from collapsing, and the deposit on surgery. Thanks to all your amazing support, right now Macaroni is getting  prepped for surgery to open up his chest and remove the damaged portion of his lung at Summit Veterinary Clinic in Tacoma, WA (253-983-1114).   At this point I am reaching out to friends and family to help save Macaroni.
