Start a new Pipe Band

We love Scottish music, and if you've clicked to check out our campaign, we hope you do too!

We are a group of 14 (and growing) pipers and drummers in Victoria, BC looking to start a new pipe and drum band. We are different from most other bands on Vancouver Island in that we want to focus on competitive playing instead of more traditional marches and performance tunes. This will be Victoria's first competition-focussed pipe band in many years.

We are looking for support to help us get started. After all, piping and drumming in pants is just plain weird. And our drummers currently have to 'air drum' as we are working to purchase that equipment.

Your support will help us to buy drums and their harnesses and cases, with any funds left over used to procure kilts and highland dress accessories for our band. We are planning to debut this summer for short community performances with a full season in 2016.
