Study Abroad Trip to Chile

Hi all,
First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm currently a senior at Grand Valley State University majoring in Political Science with a minor in Latin American Studies. So far, I have been blessed with grants and scholarships to cover my tuition costs all four years. This Summer was going to be my final semester and fortunately, I was a recipient for two scholarships to study abroad in Chile to finish up my last few credits. I also took out an additional loan to cover for the rest and till recently I thought I was covered for everything. However, today I found out that I still have a remaining balance and plus all other expenses while I'm there. This has come as really bad news, given that I will be leaving for Chile in about 2 weeks.
I'm very excited and happy that I got offered this opportunity. Being a first-generation Latina college student, it has been ROUGH. The past couple of months have been very hard for me due to financial instability and personal problems but I'm remaining positive through it all. Thankfully, I have had the love and support from family and friends that have kept me going. My mother specifically, has been there and though I can't count on her for the financial support she has been my rock. I want to make her and my family proud that have sacrificed a lot so I can be here! I got this far and I'm not giving up despite the circumstances.
I'm asking if anyone, friends, family members, and acquaintances can donate something to make this trip happen, it will mean A LOT! This will take some stress off my back upon my return and keep me on track for graduation. If not, please feel free to share this with anyone. Lastly, again thank you for reading, sharing, and/or donating, and please keep me in your prayers as I'm going through some tough times. But nothing that I can't handle, right?
