Focus On School, Not Hunger

Donation protected
Monticello Meals is a program created and run by Monticello High School students that sends bags of groceries home with children who are food insecure - that means their best meals usually come from the school.
Students meet with counselors at the schools to identify children in need, write letters requesting donations, and shop for the best prices at local stores. Each week, they purchase groceries to send home with as many as 16 children, prepare the grocery bags every Thursday night, and deliver them to Stone-Robinson and Woodbrook every Friday for the students to take home.
This program costs approximately $350 per student per year, and efforts are underway for the program to continue under future Monticello students even after the founders have moved on to college.
Would you consider a donation of any kind in support? You can donate quickly and easily through this gofundme site, or message us if you'd like to learn more about making a tax-deductible donation directly to the elementary school. Together we can help all students focus on school instead of hunger.
