Save Little Bear - Happy Days Rescue

Little Bear, who is only 3 months old,  was brought to Genessee County Animal Control Saturday, October 29 in serious condition. She had been viciously attacked by another dog and her throat and ear were torn open. She had multiple bite wounds all over her little body and the wounds were terribly infected. They knew it was a life or death situation and she was rushed to the emergency vet. They were able to stabilize her and after a brief stay she returned to animal control. Yesterday, Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue stepped up and took Little Bear into their care. Her infection is so severe, she is in danger of becoming septic. Because the tissue has become necrotic, she will lose her ear and her ear canal will have to be refashioned.

Little Bear is in bad shape, but she is showing us she is a fighter. Despite her pain and what she has been through, she is still wagging her tail and giving kisses. As scared and hurt as she is, she wants to live!

If she is going to survive this ordeal, Little Bear needs to see specialists this week. She is going to need several surgeries. The cost will be extreme and the recovery  long. We know it is worth it, though, because this little baby deserves a chance at a wonderful life. Won't you please help us help Little Bear?

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax deductible.
