Emma Barry, age 17, was in a car accident on 12/23/18 and sustained a traumatic brain injury, among several other injuries and medical complications. She has been in the ICU at Grant Medical Center since the night of the accident. We are waiting for her to begin the wake up process. The road to recovery will be long and difficult with expected peaks and valleys. In fact, this will be the beginning of a journey for Emma.
Emma’s Mom and sister have been by her side every day and will continue to make trips back and forth to the hospital throughout the recovery process, while also caring for Emma’s twin brother.
