Husband's Leukemia Medical Bills /

My husband has been a custom knifemaker since 1965.
We only receive a small Social Security payment each month. Medicine and insurance takes up all we receive.
His knifemaking helped pay mortgages and eletrical and gas bills. since he received a diagnosis of leukemia two months ago we have used up our small savings and can barely get by. Even though Medicare has paid some of his hospital stays, we still have more to pay. Some of his Knifemaker friends have helped out because they know how it goes and we appreciate what they have done. It is not nearly enough. Our son helps out when he can, but his job is not stable. We are really in dire straites and would appreciate any help we can get. I need an operation on my back or I could become paralyzed. We also have to travel back & forth to receive antibiotic treatents and chemo treatments & sometimes travel on a wing and a prayer that gas fumes will get him/us where we needs to be. I have never begged for anything in my life, but I am now and if God is willing and with the help of friends and family, we will get through this. God Bless all who decide to help us out and perhaps some day we can repay the favor.
