Help Tom Fight Stage 4 Cancer!

My fellow co-workers and I are starting this Go Fund Me account for another co-worker and close friend.
In June, our close friend, Carol, told us that her husbnad, Thomas Rinkus, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Squamous Cell cancer in his mouth, neck and lympnodes. In July, Tom went in for surgery to have the cancer removed on his neck. As he came out of surgery, he had a stroke and lost mobility on his left side. Luckily, with occupational therapy, his mobility has gotten better. Tom was about to start aggressive chemo and radiation, but not without another pitfall: they found another cancerous spot on the other side of his neck. Tom underwent his second round of surgery on September 13. We are all hoping this is the last bout of surgery so he can start with his chemo and radiation treatments.
The reason we are starting this page, is obviously, for Tom, but for all of their travel and medical expenses insurance won't cover. Tom is being treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City, with a branch also in New Jersey. Carol and Tom have been traveling back and forth from Pennsylvania to New Jersey/New York City almost every day. Carol has also had to take off numerous days in which she does not get paid for. The pair has 2 children, 1 a senior in highschool and the other in her third year of college.
They would be appreciative of any help you can offer whether it be money (any little bit can help) and of course prayers and positive thoughts.
