Help Give Babu and Family a Home

I had only met Babu once before I received a frantic phone call. She was crying, scared, and desperate for help. There was an eviction notice on her door. She needed a home, immediately...
My name is Jill Grano. My son, Ryder, has been close friends with Babu's children since kindergarten. I'm also a Realtor in Boulder, Colorado. That's why Babu called me ... She needed help and had no one.
A little background on Babu and her Family:
-Babu is a single mother, divorced after an abusive marriage and left with almost nothing.
-Babu's first child, Stephen, was born at 1lb 7oz with a brain bleed and diagnosed with significant disabilities which he still lives with today at the age of 12.
-Babu also has twins, Ashna and Amol, aged 10, who are kind, smart and loving.
-Babu's mother lives with her and requires constant medical care.
-Babu works at a gas station, earning less than $1300 a month, working 12hr shifts that begin at 4am.
A little background on why this family needs a home:
After Babu's divorce, she was left with a small 2 bedroom condo near the train tracks. Five people have shared this 950 square foot space for the last several years. Babu has been solely responsible for paying the mortgage, HOA fees, and all of her family’s' expenses. In late 2014 a fender bender and medical expenses caused Babu to default on her mortgage. Her home went into foreclosure. In early 2015 her home was purchased at public auction by a group of investors. By the time she placed the frantic phone call, her home was not hers anymore.
Babu and her family have less than 30 days to vacate their home. Allowing this sweet family to become homeless is NOT an option. We've explored all possibilities for replacement housing. Here's what we've done so far:
-We've contacted Emergency Family Assistance Association- waitlist
-We've explored Section 8 and Boulder Affordable Housing- waitlist
-We've contacted local churches and have received great community support, but still need monetary funds
-We've explored all rental home possibilities.
We've identified a great option for Babu and her family:
A 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, mobile home in an established community with children playing in the streets. Ashna, Amol and Stephen will have the opportunity to remain at their respective schools and Stephen will continue to thrive in the community where he receives the support and therapies he needs. Best of all, once the mobile home is purchased, the land lease will be about half of what Babu has been paying for her condo. This provides her with a home that's sustainable financially in the future and one that she can call her own.
We need your help to purchase this home! Anything that you can donate is greatly appreciated. The bigger the better... obviously. But any amount will get this amazing family closer to a home. This is a real opportunity to change one family’s' life from despair to hope.
