Ryan Wood could use your support!

Family, Friends, and friends of friends:

I know that at times, people set up a GoFundMe accounts for everything these days. But as most of you know my brother, Ryan Wood, has had his fare share of bad health and bad luck and could use some love and support this holiday season. At this time most of you probably know his story. Others of you may not...  

Ryan moved up to Oregon from California in April and is currently awaiting a simultaneous kidney-pancreas
transplant (current wait list time of 1-2 years). He is still, 6 months later, undergoing multiple tests, doctor's appointments just to get onto the donor list. Although we hoped it would be sooner, there has been multiple delays, hospital stays, and just crappy luck keeping him from getting to that point. His body has failed him, but we all remain hopeful that soon, he will be on the list, and soon after that he will be receiving his transplant.

At this point, Ryan could really use your support. As you can imagine, times are tough for someone in his condition. He spends 3 days a week at dialysis for 5 hours a day. He attempts to work as a waiter, twice a week, but most of the time cannot finish a shift because he is too tired, or in so much pain, but he struggles through it, because he has to try and make ends meet.  Ryan hates asking for help. He tries to do it all on his own, but for someone who sees his daily struggle I am asking you, to send your love and support. The medical bills, the costs of living, it all adds up. Whether it be  a message telling him you support him on his journey, a prayer, a donation, or even just being there for him, anything would be GREATLY appreciated.

We all stay hopeful, and Ryan tries to stay positive as possible in this struggle. I want to take the time to say thank you for reading this, and thank you for your continued support for Ryan. There isn't a day that goes by that he isn't grateful for each and every one of you.
