Crystals Cancer Battle

Hi Everyone, I am Becky Cox writing this post for my niece Crystal Johnson Norfleet.  My niece is 43 years old, and has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer with Bone Metastasis. She has had her first Chemo treatment and has more to come, as she will have them every 3 weeks. None of us thought she would go thru something like this, as her family has already had there share of Cancer battles. Crystal has lost her mother at  age 41, and a brother at age 26 both to cancer. I want to see Crystal have every chance, oppurtunity to have all treatment to add to her time here on this earth, as she has her own family she adores and cherishes so much. I am sorry to say her cancer is terminal, but with the treatment her Dr. has told her she could add years to her life.
   
The challenges she faces immediately is transportation and fuel cost to get to and from Chemo treatments and follow up appointments. Without a vehicle she has been relying on frends and family, however it is difficult at times to always find when needed. It is my hope that funds raised on her behalf will pay for a vehicle and fuel costs, medications that she truly needs. Her family does all that we can, but unfortunately cannot provide all that she needs. I ask those of you who know her, even those that may not, to donate so that some of the basic and immediate needs can be met. I do ask prayers are shared for her and her children as they go through the days ahead. Anyone who has gone thru this themselves knows what a emotional toll this takes on a person. She is a strong person, still smiles and always puts others first. For Crystal we love you, and pray for you everyday.
