Lusty Mannequins Edinburgh Fringe Support

The Lusty Mannequins (Alastair Forbes, Ashley Comeau, Connor Thompson and Karen Parker), are headed to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year!  We’ll be doing our part to bring Canadian sketch comedy to the world - or at least, the dark, weird kind of sketch comedy we do.

We are fundraising here to help with travel and accommodation costs as well as show expenses. Taking this puppy to the Fringe of all Fringes is an expensive venture.  All of the money raised here will go towards making our show a success. And NONE will go towards fulfilling Alastair’s lifelong dream of eradicating all birds everywhere. That is a solemn promise. 

Any donation, no matter how small will bring us one step closer to achieving our dreams of performing at this amazing festival.

We know what you’re thinking: Does Alastair really hate birds that much? Also, what’s in it for me? The answer: yes, once he stepped on a bird at a bird sanctuary in South Africa. Also, there’s LOTS in it for you. We would never ask you to hand over your hard-earned cash and leave empty-handed, so have yourself a peruse of our rewards list below, and choose whichever suits your fancy. Want to be immortalized forever in the annals of sketch comedy by having a character named after you in a Lusty Mannequins sketch? That’s a paltry $40. Want to spend an afternoon playing Frisbee Golf with notorious bird-hater Alastair Forbes? That’ll run you $250 - but it’s worth it, ‘cuz that guy freakin’ loves Frolf and he’ll also buy you ice cream. Want to spend a night cooking with Comeau? Buddy, you are in LUCK. There’s something for everyone!

$10 - A social media thank you!

$20 A social media thank you and a pic of either #AlastairsBody or #LilToby - Ashley and Connor's rescue pup.

$25 - An official Lusty Mannequins Edinburgh Fringe Poster, signed by the troupe.

$25 - Alastair will draw a picture of a bird of your choosing. He’s not a great artist,  that’s why this one is only $25.

$40 - The Lustys will put your name in a sketch. Obtain immortality by etching your name forever in the Lusty Mannequins' archive - to be shown the world over! 

$50 - A Lusty will walk your dog for 2 hours! 

$75- We will photoshop Alastair into any photo (wedding or otherwise) that you'd like!

$100 - A one-hour how-to workshop on sourcing and refurbishing antique furniture, with Karen Parker.

$100- A Lusty of your choosing will offer you 2 hours of coaching, directing or feedback on scripts.

$150 - Connor will help you plant your garden come the spring! 

$200 - Karen will refurbish and paint a piece of furniture for your home! 

$250 - An eighteen-hole Frisbee Golf excursion to Toronto Island with the Lustys, including a Frisbee Golf tutorial by Alastair.  He will also buy you ice cream.

$500 - Ashley will come over and cook you a meal for up to 4 people! Groceries included (up to $200).

$1000 - Comeau will spend up to 10 hours with you helping you Marie Kondoing your apartment.

$1500 - The Lustys will perform a custom improv show for you and your co-workers or 50 closest friends! 

$2500 - The Lustys will perform a full-day custom improv show and corporate facilitation for you and your business!
