I'm going to cut to the chase...She needs our help, love, prayers and support right NOW!
That horrible "C" word (CANCER) has struck again!
If you are one of the many who love Luann, then you know her story and most likely know the family. You know of her strength through times of struggle and her positivity through it all.
Luann is like most women... she's been a LOVING wife, a CARING mother and a FAITHFUL employee... she is also a GREAT neighbor, a WONDERFUL friend, an AMAZING volunteer, and an AMBITIOUS worker. Luann's a FUN person to be around, she has a POSITIVE outlook on life & can bring a SMILE to you on the gloomiest of days. She gives some of the best HUGS on this planet & would give YOU the shirt off of her back!
With this said, then you also know that she is a giver and but never expects anything to be given back in return. But, this is our time to give back to her all that she has given to others.
I could go on and on and on... but the point is that we, her friends, family, and acquaintances, have all been touched by Luann's generosity in many shapes and forms. Let's pull together and pray for the family- they need healing, health, strength and love. If you are able to donate towards her bills and upcoming expenses as she will be out of work due to her state and current conditions, it would be gratefully appreciated.
Medical: Luann experienced dizziness & blurred vision & went to the hospital last Thursday.
Luann has been diagnosed with cancer, currently found on her brain and believed to be spread from the kidney. Luann is having more tests and biopsies on her ovaries/uterus and lung(s) as these are other areas where cancer may have been found. A shunt to relieve built up brain fluids due to the lesions found on her brain was put in on Tuesday 3/21/17. Biopsies will be done throughout the week and radiation to start immediately following the healing of her surgery. Her kids (Trevor & Kellsey) have asked that you give them time to get answers & process the turn of events, as they need to focus on mom right now.
Her family is aware of our attempts to raise money for Luann and are fully on board. They are positively overwhelmed by the love and prayers as well as the support they have received. Your generous donations will help Luann even further as she gets back on her feet and heals. Luann does NOT know about our attempts to help her out, and we would like to keep it that way as a SURPRISE. We also ask that you do NOT share this link and information on social media such as Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram out of respect for Luann’s privacy.
