QTMC, Inc. Charity recently had our 2 generators stolen, that we use to operate our bouncehouses for youth. Now we’re in dire need to replace them, besides our other on-going expenses to serve our core community of homeless/needy, Veterans, and Special Needs. We serve the community in numerous ways such as:
· Distributes USDA food from Forgotten Harvest 2nd Wednesday each month.
· Distributes USDA food from Gleaners Food Bank every Thursday.
· Distributes organic food from Whole Foods every Friday and Sunday.
· Hosts bi-weekly dinner/dance for Special Needs.
· Shares donated food, coffee products, donuts, and more with both HOPE Hospitality & Warming Center shelters for homeless, Veterans, and recuperative.
· Hires homeless and Veterans as day-laborers to cut grass, rake leaves, shovel snow, move furniture, and to assist with other tasks as applicable.
· Performs live, dynamic motivational concerts for youth with QTMC Music Group.
Visits rehabilitating youth in 3 community Hospitals every Christmas time.
Ministers to homeless Oakland County Jail Inmates.
Obtains tickets and has taken homeless, Special Needs, and Veterans to Detroit Pistons NBA Games, Harlem Globetrotters Games, Lord of the Dance, the Detroit Auto Show, and DTE Amphitheatre.
Coordinates vehicles and music/microphones for the annual Pontiac Parade Extravaganza.
Host of annual Memorial Day Community Picnic, and Thanksgiving Dinner for homeless & Veterans.
