LOVIN' LORI!
Donation protected
Our dear friend and collegue Lori Williamson, was recently diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Lori will undergo surgery at Swedish Hospital in Seattle on April 18th and begin at least 18 weeks of chemotherapy shortly thereafter.
To know Lori is to love her and her family. Lori is an Oak Harbor "native." She graduated from Oak Harbor High School and has spent most of her adult life here on Whidbey Island. Lori has an enormous heart and that led her to work with children in the Choices program at Olympic View Elementary. She currently works in the office at Hillcrest Elementary. She has worked for the Oak Harbor Public Schools for 12 years. Lori is a woman of many talents and has worked in various occupations (hair stylist, finance officer, barista, bakery clerk........).
Please help Lori in her fight against this devastating diagnosis by helping her and her family contend with medical treatment costs, loss of wages, travel to seek specialized care, and basic living expenses. No family should have to face a challenge like this alone. Lori's friends, family, and those of you who can relate to her situation can help ease the financial burden of this disease so that 100% focus can go toward the physical and emotional battle Lori and her family face.
