Hello dear people reading this!
My name is Kristoffer Laukamp, I am the 3rd son of Zena Laukamp (Who is, of course, my mother).
My mom is an amazing woman, who recently turned 50 (back in january) - The same month she had discusprolaps in her back, resulting in having Modic 2 changes (You can read about Modic 2 changes HERE).
Having this medical issue, causes a lot of economical troubles for our family - She lives with my dad and my little brother in quite a big apartment, means they have "high" bills each month, and with this medical condition, those bills just doubled and nearly trippled. This is putting a lot of pressure on both my mom ( Who still has to work) and my dad of course. My littlebrother can also feel it, as her medication makes her tired (Very very strong antibioitics used for her lever, etc. to reflect the viruses).
Back to my mother!
As mentioned above, my mom recently turned 50 and has been working as a Daycare (Taking care of children in the daytime, while their parents work). She got this discusprolaps while working with a child. This means it happened in the WORKTIME, but the Industrial Board of Medical Injuries will not cover any of it, as they don't "believe" it happened at work, when it clearly did.
My mother also started a diet, right after this medical condition occured. She was sligthly overweight, but lost more than 23 kilos since february. Am I proud of her? Hell yes!

Doctors says it can take up to 15 years for my mothers back to turn "near" normal again, and it's possible it wont ever be "normal" again.
If we ever get this FundRaise to the max, I don't know what I will do. I, and my family, would be forever greatful. This would mean so much to us, as my parents and my littlebrother would be able to go back to their "normal" lives, and not worry about their big medical bills.
