The Love Your Neighbor Project

Action, compassion, collaboration, support. These are the four pillars supporting the Love Your Neighbor Project, a student-run campaign to help the homeless in San Francisco.
A heartbreaking 7,500 people are homeless in SF, surely the other 7 million Bay Area residents can do something to help!
Started by a handful of high school students in San Bruno, CA, Love Your Neighbor is about providing long-term and short-term aid to homeless individuals in San Francisco. Here’s how we do it:
- Partner with local businesses for support.
- Gather donations from the community.
- Assemble care packages of food, toiletries, warm clothing, and a handwritten note including names of local shelters.
- Hand-deliver every package.
The gratitude and blessings from our recipients have been truly amazing. Through our efforts, we have already helped 400 individuals. Now, we seek to expand our campaign and we need your support! We will use all donations for buying ingredients and other supplies that will go directly to the community. Those who are local are also invited to participate in our next event on March 18th!
