WATER FOR WILD HORSES THEY NEED YOU

$6,770 of $8,000 goal

Raised by 43 people in 4 months
Please give the gift of life-sustaining water for our wild horses today.  I am raising money for lovewildhorses.org

They are developing a water source for the wild horses of the Antelope Valley in Northeastern, Nevada at Deer Spring.  All of Nevada is currently in very dry conditions and the need for water for our wild horses is critical.

This will be an ongoing project as we plan to develop more springs in the area.

We are expecting to have the first spring installed around mid -April or May 1st. 2018
This date has changed to the middle of June due to contractors obligations. He will not be able to start until then and we still need to raise a lot more funding.

Be a part of this fantastic project to save and sustain our wild horses on public lands.

We are so grateful for all the donations to help achieve this extremely important project.

Each donation no matter what the amount is will help the horses to have a good year-round water supply.

Thank you in advance. Jeanne Bencich Nations

Dear friends just a quick update on the Giving Spring. We have had some setbacks in getting the project started through no fault of our own.
We were all set to begin construction on the spring over the fourth of July when wildfires were in the area of the spring.
All wild horses dispersed out of the area, no horses were harmed. The fires are all out, now BLM is telling us that they want to move forward with the project but they will not give us a reason for the delay only saying that we should be able to begin very soon. It is so frustrating to not to be able to have this completed by now.
The good news is the horses are not without water the BLM has been hauling water there daily.
We hope to begin soon we are ready to go and have been for a while now, so it is up to the BLM at this point in time as to as to when the construction can begin.
We are anxiously waiting for an actual start date. from the BLM, hopefully any day now.
We want to thank you all for your generous support and we will get the spring in. Many blessings your way for thinking of the wild horses and giving the gift of water.

BLM is soon to begin more removals of our wild horses, this time 125 wild horses from the Goshute HMA in the Antelope Valley Complex. BLM will be using bait and water trapping, no public access.
The horses are drinking at Ferguson Spring on private property and crossing the Hwy 93 near Wendover Nevada which BLM has declared a public safety hazard.

Again another private land issue that is why our Giving Springs projects are so important we must secure watering sources that are not on private lands so that wild horses have year-round access to water and won't be in danger of being removed from public lands due to private land watering issues that are becoming a problem more so every day, wild horses are being rounded up due to private lands owners with water rights who do not want wild horses using their springs.

We want to make sure that this does not happen and that water is not wasted on public lands. We are developing plans for sustainable management of water resources within the Antelope Valley Complex in Nevada. As many of you already know. Our first spring is being developed starting on July 4th, 2018.
We are so proud of this accomplishment for the wild horses and thanks to all of you who have participated in this wonderful project which will provide water for over 400 wild horses.
If you would like to help us with continuing funds for year-round maintenance of the spring along with further research and development for other life-sustaining water projects in this area of the vast Antelope Valley Complex in Nevada, where wild horses and all animals are facing drought conditions please go to our go fund me site. We need contributions for more life-sustaining water projects on public lands. Thank you. Hi Everyone, some great news to share finally. We may be starting as early as this week to get the Giving Spring Developed. We are only waiting for the contractor but we will be meeting this week. When he gives the okay on the start date then it will only take about 4 days. It was so hard waiting but we are finally at the starting point.
We could not have done this project without all of our generous supporters who never give up and believed in our project, our donors are all part of the history of the first ever water development project in Northeastern, Nevada of the Great Basin Country.
We have the first public/ private partnership with the Bureau Of Land Management in Northeastern, Nevada for this type of project. We are also grateful to the BLM for the opportunity to provide water for wild horses.
We could never have done this without you, the people and your generous support, because of you, the wild horses will now have a life-sustaining year-round water source in a beautiful place, high up in the mountains and will be able to get a cool drink of fresh mountain spring water.
Lovewildhorses.org is so grateful for your kind hearts towards our wild horses who desperately need this water.
We are not stopping here. We plan on developing more springs in certain HMAs in Northeastern Nevada where water is very minimal at best.
The starting of the water projects is a good step in the right direction for rangeland management of wild horses. We will be shutting down this gofundme site if you would still like to contribute to more water projects and the maintenance of The Giving Spring please donate to lovewildhorses.org . We will be posting many photos on our lovewildhorses. org site and Wild Horse Protection Act on Facebook right from the start when the first construction worker with the backhoe starts digging out the spring.
You will see the progress from start to finish. All reward levels will be sent out once the project is complete.
With much gratitude thank you Lovewildhorses.org Jeanne Bencich Nations, Jetara Sehart.

Note the horse in the photos was not caught in a fence he was in search of water and found a mud puddle to roll in.
No more thirsty horses. You should all be very proud of what you have contributed to, the well being of our treasured icons of the West!

We are in the final stages of the much-needed spring development in the high desert of Nevada The Giving Spring projects. We are providing the life-sustaining gift of water to our wild horses in the high desert of Northeastern, Nevada.
Our horses are currently facing extinction, today one grievous plan is that the BLM wants to send our Ameican wild horses, symbols of our Western Heritage to other countries to be used as bait for Siberian tigers in Russia also sold off for meat to other foreign countries. The only way to save them is for the people to get involved and take the high road, dedicate yourself to helping our wild horses for the greater good of all humanity! Wild horses truly enrich our lives and are meant to live in nature free from harm. Be a part of this great project by giving whatever you can today, it is urgent! Rangeland management is the only way to save them.
