Mission Statement:

We are a Christian based Organization geared towards helping the less fortunate and healing the problems they face. GODS Loving Hands Feeding the Homeless, Inc provides services to the homeless, abused victims, the elderly, children/families and pets.

As a person who was homeless as a kid in a single mother household at least eight times that I can remember and once as an adult in 2008, I can attest to the affect it takes on your self-esteem and your spirit.

So our mission is to provide needed services to those in need to allow them to regain their stability and self-esteem through holding their hands and walking them through the gates of success once again.

It brings a smile and great joy to our staff, to see someone stuck in a cocoons nest, now being able to fly like the butterfly they were meant to be. Just like a foster kid coming into a positive environment, their lives change for the better in a loving family setting.

We will be combining retired older people with the younger people as a support system, through our volunteering program. They will be able to voice their own heartaches, struggles and how they made it through life.

GODS Loving Hands Feeding the Homeless will hold special church services, to introduce those who do not practice religion a chance to see the spiritual effects of being around and with other Christian people.

We plan to have a Thrift Store so that those who donate will be able to help support this wonderful Faith-based organization. In addition, those persons needing to do some court-ordered Community Services will be able to do so through our Community Service Program. We know that people get into trouble all the time and this will be a way for them to do their Community Service and at the same time learn how to give back to others, who are less fortunate then perhaps themselves. Our 2-year goal will be to buy a piece of property to house those who need immediate residency for a period of one year. Through our many wonderful programs, our clients will be able to find work, support groups and sign up for other services within our program.

Once again, it's been a long sort after program that I personally have been envisioning for at least 20+ years. Now that my life is back on track and GOD has truly blessed me; I can afford to give of my time, love and services to those in grave need.

These are many of the Community Services we will offer:

Cleaning the neighborhood
Painting Houses
Passing out our literature
Cutting yards
Talking to the young people in the neighborhood about joining us
Job fares
Computer and library facility
Packing boxes of food for those in need
Teaching families how to cook nutritious meals
Having special guest speakers
Movie nights for families
After school programs for at-risk kids
Etc::
