LOVE's Captured Moments

My name is Nashyla and I work for Leave Out Violence (LOVE) Ontario. LOVE is a not-for-profit organization in Toronto. Our youth come to us after experiencing violence in their lives. We use media and literary arts like spoken word, poetry, and creative writing to help give them a voice, heal and move forward.

We are currently in need of new cameras for our Media Arts Program (MAP). MAP uses cameras for photography and videography to allow youth who don't usually have the resources or opportunities, to tell their stories and express themselves through positive expression. The youth that participate in MAP are dedicated to attending sessions weekly and gaining relevant skills in photography and leadership.

My goal is to raise $1500 over the next 6 weeks to buy 3 new cameras for our MAP program. All of the proceeds will go directly to LOVE.
