Lovely Lexi's Battle

Thank you to those who continue to pray Lexi and her healing.  We appreciate your love and support in this hard time. This has been so overwhelming to the family and we would continue to ask that contact or questions be made through Shawna Walton, Helen Peters or Amanda Moyer. In September, Doctors discovered that our Lovely Lexi had a tumor on her brain stem.  This tumor was surrounded by a cyst nearly 5x bigger than the tumor. Lexi has been experiencing lack of balance, overall weakness, fatigue and nausea among other things.  She underwent surgery at Denver Children's Hospital to drain the cyst and obtain a  sample of the tumor.  Recovery was rough on her, but she is so strong and did it.  They met with Denver Children's Hospital today and determined her treatment plan. They are planning 6 weeks of radiation in Denver, held 5 days a week for about 10-15 minute sessions.  Lexi's outlook and positive attitude never cease to amaze me. She is bummed but thankful that surgery is not necessary.  Needless to say treatment, travel to Denver and missed work days for Matt and Casey will become an astronomical expense.  If you are able to help monetarily,  we would greatly appreciate it.
