Poor Lina has undergone numerous vet visits and all sorts of tests. She has had eleven veterinary exams at four veterinary practices since December.
While trying to determine what was causing her severe abdominal distress, she has undergone x-rays and an ultrasound, several parasite screens, and lots of trials with medications. She had to be hospitalized twice. All of this to figure out why she was having severe bouts of diarrhea and was losing weight.
Our vets give us generous discounts but the total is almost $4,000 to date and we anticipate another $1000 in vet bills before we can provide an adopter with a clear diagnosis, a prognosis, and a general idea of future costs.
We firmly believe that Lina is worth every penny of the expenses we've spent on her but we could use some help. Every dollar donated toward Lina's costs means another dollar we can spend saving another dog.
Lina was so shy when she first came to us. She has blossomed into an amazing dog with so much potential to love, despite being poked and prodded so often. Her foster family is committed to doing whatever is necessary to ensure that she stays healthy.
