Support the Serventi family
On Friday, July 1st, the Serventi family lost their beloved husband and father. Russ was a wonderful man, survived by a wonderful family.
Due to the circumstances of his passing, the family will have to wait for any due assistance/insurance.
It is this situation that leads me to create this fundraising page.
This family is hard working, kind and loving. Please consider donating to help them, as financial burden should be the least of their worries in this time of bereavement.
If you would like to wrote a check or drop off cash, you can go to any WSECU or a co-op like twinstar and deposit into account number 6613944
Thank you for your patience while we got that figured out.
Also, Megan would like to get photos everywhere for Russ' memorial. The memorial will be at Centralia College on July 30th at 1 pm. You can email photos to a special account: Remembering.Russ.Serventi@gmail.com
Megan and the kids just need support and love for right now, and they continually promise to let us know when they actually need something.
As for a memorial, Megan is in the process of planning and will be very loud and vocal once plans are finalized. A real funeral in a stuffy funeral home wasn't Russ' style, so it will be a Celebration of his life.
Thank you for helping us get more than a third of our goal to help them through this time! The support coming in from all around is a blessing.
This has been an amazing, and touching rally of support, and I know Megan and the kids are thankful for everyone's contributions, and continued support and love.
Thank you for donating and continuing to share this fund, to better alleviate the strain, so they can focus on their healing.
Wow! Thank you everyone for your generosity! Megan is very thankful for the love and support in this rough time.
We were blessed with the knowledge the dive team was able to recover Russ' body today. So now we pray for healing, and continued comfort and love.
A few people have reached out and would prefer to write checks - a group fund will be set up at a local bank.
I will also be setting an event up for continued fundraising and celebration in the near future, with Megan's permission.
Again, from Megan and the kids - thank you.
Russ worked at the same warehouse I did, and his desk was right behind my dispatcher's window. He was usually starting work as I was finishing. He would almost ALWAYS say"Hey Steph, come look at this" or "Hey Steph, I have a joke for you". When I learned of his passing, I was devastated. The last time I spoke to him, he was telling me about his vacation plans, and said when he got back, he'd help me pick out a motorcycle that would suit me. I'm so so so sorry for your loss! Russ was an amazing person, and I only knew him at work.
I have shared, and will continue to share, this link. He was a great father who raised amazing children and will be very missed. My heart goes out to Megan and the kids. You are all in my prayers.
Thanks, Jim! We appreciate it! I'm so grateful for thus community ♥
