Annie Wang was a second-year psychology student at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a cherished friend to many.
Between Thursday, May 17th and Friday, May 18th, Annie disappeared without a trace and was reported missing. On Tuesday, May 22nd, she was found in the area of Cold Springs Bridge. She is no longer with us. We are still learning and confirming the cause of this tragedy, and how to move forward.
Annie was a well-loved person in her community. She was known as compassionate, bubbly, and positive. There’s not a time Annie didn’t have a smile on her face. It always shined bright no matter what day it was, and she lifted the spirits of all those around her with her charisma and charm. She always found the best in people. No matter what went wrong, she was that person to be there for you until the end. What happened is incredibly devastating to her family and all the lives she touched. Annie will always be loved and never forgotten.
We created this GoFundMe to help alleviate the burden on her family. All proceeds will go to her family and cover funeral expenses and other bereavement costs they may have.
