Medical expenses for 11 yr old Ari.

Welcome! We are trying to help out our best friends son Ari.  He is 11 year old and love legos, playing xbox, and loves watching YouTube videos on cars. He is severely ill with both Crohn's Disease and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Both rare diseases with no cure. He has been on chemo for 2 years and it's not working.  He now has to go off all solid food for 2+ months. He will be on medical liquid food. Unfortunately Insurance will not cover it. He is choosing to drink it instead of being tube fed. It is his choice, but insurance will only cover tube feeding. His meds will cost $2,600+ out of pocket per month. Once this is done, he will be on a strict, limited diet 1 year to life. It's a challenge because he has a huge amount of food allergies. Ari's normal monthly medical costs are $600+ out of pocket.  Thanks so much!!!!
