My name is Dafe Otite and I live in the United Kingdom am supporting the The Lovatt Foundation .Org operating in Northern Nigeria.
I heard of Fiona Lovatt and the work she is doing last year. However, I had the opportunity to meet her live for the first time in November 2016 at a discussion meet with the aim of bringing her work to a wider audience.
I intend to raise as much as possible to assist her work and will be sending moneys on a monthly basis via bank transfers to her in Nigeria, assisting ordinary people give their widow's mite in the face of a hostile financial/ remittances environment prevalent in the country at this time.
The funds will be spent mainly on the four key areas of her work as below:
Children of Borno (COB): Shelter for up to 150 children orphaned by the Terrorist Organisation Boko Haram in 5 secure locations in Kano and Maiduguri. Money to be spent on rent, food, education (books, pens etc and running the shelters

Gidan Almajirai is an active co-operative of young students who live as a household and attend a traditional school in Kano. Now self-employed and with their own home, each young man is committed to fulfilling his own potential in National Curriculum Education, business, service and brotherhood. We hope to share the various projects and successes of the Almajirai can be shared here. We are happy to help with any research enquiries on a subject that has been largely academic and situation that is most often regarded as problematic.
