Dabo's All In Foundation in Memory of Louis Manios

Louis Manios, or to his friends "Louie", was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in May 2018.  He put up the fight of all fights as he battled this horrific affliction for 9 months. After bouts of chemotherapy and surgery and just prior to the holidays he learned that his cancer had spread becoming untreatable and incurable. After hearing of this grim diagnosis, his wife and children decided that his remaining days were going to be his "best days." A friend of the family reached out to the Clemson University Football Program to see if it would be feasible to meet Dabo Swinney and tour the indoor practice facility.  Anyone who knew Louie knew how important Clemson Football was to him. When Louie was told that he would be touring the practice facility along with meeting the coaching staff, his friends and family saw the first smile grace his face in quite some time.  With ACC Championship week approaching and practices closed to the public, the Manios family was elated as the Clemson Football program opened its doors to them. After meeting a multitude of current and previous Clemson players and coaches, Dabo Swinney paused during his extremely busy schedule to spend a great deal of time focusing on and talking to Louie. Louie was touched by this grand gesture and immediately made a donation to Dabo's All In Foundation. Dabo's All In Foundation is a wonderful organization that raises funds in a multitude of areas, one in particular being cancer research. Louis unfortunately lost his battle with cancer early this week and the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to this GoFundMe page, which 100% of all donations will in turn be handed over directly to the Dabo All In Foundation. His wife and two sons could not think of a better way to honor their exceptional husband and loving father in hopes that no family has to experience what their family has.
