Lost on the Pacific Coast

Tax deductible
My name is Chris Seistrup, I'm 35 years old, from Prescott, AZ.

Hemophilia is a bleeding disorder characterized
by a reduced ability to form clots to stop bleeding. For severe cases, it may require treatment daily with blood products. For a mild case, if they're lucky, only during a severe trauma. The disease is inherited via the X  chromosome, and skips a generation.

I was born  with Factor IX Hemophilia, inherited from my grandfather. Last year, we almost lost him due to complications with internal bleeding, doner blood, and blood clotting products. This was a very scary time for our family. I was inspired to do what I could to promote awareness and help raise money for other hemophiliac families in need.

I chose the Hemophilia Federation of America because they do everything they can to help provide a better life for hemophiliacs in need.  In 2014, 92 cents of every dollar they received went to helping patients with a bleeding disorder. Please donate to help these families.
