Hurricane Maria completly destroyed Puerto Rico. Many families lost their homes, including Kay's Father. We are asking for help so that Kay can send them food and supplies as needed to help her family survive this travesty. Kay's family has been left with no electricity, water and very limited food. Kay's father, grandparents, uncles, and cousins live in Puerto Rico and are in desperate need of our help right now and it's impossible for Kay to do it on her own. Thank you so much for anything you can contribute! It will go a long way to get her family back on their feet.
Kay expresses that she has never done anything like this before, so she is left speachless that her work family would offer to try and help her Puerto Rico family as quickly as possible. She wants everyone to know that all she really wants is to help her family have a plate of food everyday. It breaks her heart thinking that her family may be going hungry. Kay hasn't been able to speak with her dad for the past 3 weeks and it is a horrible feeling, especially when she thinks of what he felt when he went home to nothing. Kay's father is a very hard working man and has lived in his home since he was a child. When she does get to speak with family members, they are always saying that they are okay but she said she knows they are not. Kay and her family are from one of the smallest towns in Puerto Rico (Maricao)... she realizes that help will get to her small town last, for sure. The people in Maricao have a great heart... they are good people. It's the kind of town where all the neighbors know each other. Kay's grandmother is 72 years old and when Kay last spoke with her, she said that she wants to come to Florida to be with Kay, but Kay currently has no way to bring her home.
We, at Suncoast Property Management, would never ask anyone to help if we didn't feel very strongly about the cause. Kay is one of our own. She is family. When she hurts, we hurt. Kay works hard for Suncoast and for all of the customers that SunCoast services. Any amount that you can donate is MORE THAN APPRECIATED!
