Looking after and remembering Fitzy
Donation protected
In the past week we've experienced a heavy loss with the passing of our close friend Fitzy. An experience in life that came far too soon for us all.
As you know Fitzy's love and friendship were priceless but unfortunately his personal finances were not borne of the same riches! So the coordinators of Fitzy's final movements are establishing a fund raising.
For those who are not aware, Fitzy's family background was of the Catholic pursuasion with Jackie (mum) being laid to rest under Catholic ceremony and burial. Jackie was laid to rest in May 1990 at Springvale cemetery, and so it only makes sense to place Fitzy with Jackie and to arrange a full burial. Additionally we are keen to explore the involvement of their historical parish and place of Fitzy's early school years, at Sacred Heart Kew.
The venue for the wake post ceremony has been kindly offered up by Fitzy's friends at the Power House AFC. This OzCrowd fund raising will also contribute toward the wake that is likely to expect guests of up to 500. We are keen to ensure a big send off for the big fella!
So in short, we ask that you kindly contribute whatever your hearts desire, to help us to look after Fitzy whilst he's at his most vulnerable. Your contributions will be warmly welcomed to provide the Ceremony, Burial and Wake that Fitzy so richly deserves.
We sincerely thankyou all for your overwhelming generousities.
