Lonnie's Fund For Throat Cancer

My name is Lonnie Williams, Jr and I was diagnosed with Throat Cancer about a month and a half ago. My treatment regiment will require me to have daily treatments in Chapel Hill for the next six weeks--excluding weekends.  I start my treatments on Monday, June 26th.  The hospital is approximately 85 miles from my home.  My wife is a teacher and will be tansporting me to my daily treatments.  Our only income for this period of time will be her partial checks extended over the next 2 months.  My last day of work is this Friday and I won't have any income coming in while I am taking my treatments.  We have three children ages 8, 11, and 12. God has blessed us with family, church family and friend support to help care for our children during this time.  Our hope is that they have as normal a schedule as possible this summer.  We have decided to set up this account primarily to help with the additional gas expense that the daily round trips will incur as well as the hospital bills that follow.  Donations of any amount will be a blessing and will be received in the spirit in which it is offered.  We are trusting God to see us through this time and are relying on him for provision.  That provision may come from those of you---friends and family who are impressed to be a blessing to us.  If you are not able to bless us financially, we ask that you pray for our family as we go through this trial.  We will also be praying for the each person/family who support us.
