Long Sands Bathhouse Gardens

Attention Residents and Friends!
You can be a part of the NEW Long Sands Gardens! Through your donations, the area surrounding the new bathhouse will feature many nice amenities.
As part of the project, we have created a public green space. This area will incorporate softscape landscaping features on both the south, and north ends of the new bathhouse, increasing the amount of pervious surface. The area will be aesthetically pleasing, pedestrian friendly, and
include site elements such as benches, a flag pole, a bicycle rack, a rinse station, a drinking fountain and other street and landscape elements. This part of the project was not funded as part of the bathhouse construction and the Building Committee has launched a fundraising
campaign to support the beautification of this wonderful community project.
Plantings will protect and beautify the gardens surrounding the new bathhouse. Ornamental grasses, black-eyed Susans and other plants
will brighten up the gardens. Benches will provide resting spots for visitors, giving options for donors and an aesthetic touch to the gardens.
