Valley and Logan Guatemala Mission Trip

The Christmas season is often a time to reflect on the blessings we have and to do our best to extend love to those who aren't as fortunate. It is for this reason that Valley and Logan have decided to sign up for a mission trip to Guatemala in March of 2019.
Since 2005, members of our church, Bridgeway Community Church of Rockford ,along with the Bridge of Hope, have traveled to Guatemala each spring to an area that has been devastated by a 36 year civil war. The goal on the trip is to travel to the mountainous villages to build 12 houses for widows and families in that area. The stories of the widows who have lost everything is heartbreaking. For years, Bridge of Hope teams have traveled to remote mountainous villages, to help in a place where nobody else does. Many widows on past trips have said “I’ve prayed to God for 30 years for someone to help, your group is the answer to those prayers when I thought it wasn’t possible.”
We'd love for you to be a part of this life changing adventure with us by sending your love, positive energy and prayers our way. Also, any financial assistance, regardless of amount, is greatly appreciated.
Our goal of $2500 will cover the cost of airfare in and out of Guatemala, and the cost of travel to villages for Logan and Valley.
