Local Huntley Community Member in Need

A local community member has fallen upon hard times.  This individual is a close friend of mine, and is ALWAYS the one doing the helping.  They aren't even comfortable asking for help, because "there are so many people who need it more".  Unfortunately, their need is a bigger one than I can provide.  They need a minimum of 2 months rent in order to stay in their property through the holidays.  They are also looking for a basement to rent until they can get back on their feet again.  If you can't help financially but know of a place they can rent (in district 158....they don't want to uproot their child from school), please contact me and I will get the info to them.

I understand that there is need everywhere, but if we all just do a little we will be able to help so many.  If you live in our community, chances are you know this family.  Chances are this individual has give you a helping hand, a smile, a wave, a hug, or passed along kindness to you in whatever way they were able to at the time.  I just want to give this person an ounce of what they have given our community.
