The Mudgee Show Rodeo (Mudgee Show Society have decided that due to the recent fires at Leadville, Uarby, Cassilis and Kains Flat and other recent fires this past Summer (Stubbo & Wuuluman), we will start fundraising for local landholders and our RFS Volunteers directly impacted by the fire before our Rodeo in March 2017! Our family, friends and local community have been directly impacted over the last few days. Some members of our tight knit rodeo and show family have been effected as well!
Money raised will go directly to our locals affected by the recent fires and support our local RFS Groups. We have spoken to our District Manager through one of our local members in Mudgee and confirmed that they will help distribute the funds raised and support the families and communites who need it the most. These funds will be spread across the families and communites to help rebuild, get supplies and help the community recover! This could be in way of food, clothes, equipment, pet supplies, school supplies, rebuilding supplies etc
These people need our support and every dollar counts! If you cannot donate clothes or fodder please donate some cash!
We will also have donation tins around the district as of this afternoon! (Monday 13th) and funds will be distributed as soon as possible.
