Liz's Breast Cancer Fund

On Aug. 29th of this year my wife Liz was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was 35 weeks pregnant at this time with our son Noah. The doctors chose to induce labor, so we could start treatment immediately. On Aug. 30th Liz gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby boy, Noah Rees Newlin. About 3 weeks later Liz had a double mastectomy, and her first CT scan showed the cancer had not spread. Unfortunately another test called a pet scan revealed 2 small cancerous lesions. The largest 1 is 1cm. The other is the size of a pinhead. Our doctors are optimistic about treatment. We started our first dose of chemo and hormonal treatments today. This will be every 3 weeks for 1 year, and then who knows? If the cancer does not spread, and the chemo kicks it's ass our doctors want to perform surgery to remove the cancer from her liver. Unfortunately no matter how well we do in treatment Liz has stage 4 cancer, and her doctors told us at this point it's not medically curable. That being said, they think we can fight this fight for many years to come, and God willing that's what we intend to do! Needless to say I had to put work on hold, so that I can take care of my wife, and our 2 kids. Liz had recently quit her job, so that she could be a stay at home mom for our 2 boys. The money we are trying to raise will just be used to pay our bills, rent, diapers, medical etc.  for the next year, so that I can stay home to take care of my family, and not have to worry about finances. This way we can spend time as a family to process this tough diagnosis. Thank you very much to anybody that can find a way to donate to our cause!
