Mission statement of Living Waters Park
To provide an economic stimulus to East Fort Worth by the continued development of Living Waters Park as an event site bringing to life (revitalize) the hidden beauty of this natural resource of Lake Arlington for the pleasure and use of East Fort Worth and beyond.
Our goal herewith, is to raise $2,500.00 for badly needed accounting and legal expenses due, in order to keep the non-profit interest of the organization. We have been doing well for the community, but without these basics funded, we are very limited in our performance.
Living Waters Park has and will provide an academic experience that promotes student involvement, service learning and free discourse under the STARS. Sustainable, Targets, Academic, Recreations & Science. It employs alternative access venues to meet community and students needs as it develops public and private partnerships. The desire is to make sure the park would be affordable to the East Fort Worth community, build cultural bridges, and be a noteworthy destination point for the City of Fort Worth and sustainable development.
This sustainable development is based on the assumption that societies need to manage three types of capital, economic, social, and natural. It is a pattern of resource use, which aims to meet human needs while preserving the environment so that these needs can be met not only in the present, but also for generations to come. It is also to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Economic value is added by eco-efficiency in the delivery of competitively priced goods and services that satisfy human needs and bring quality of life, while progressively reducing ecological impacts and resource intensity. Whereas, it seems so many corporate impacts on the environment are negative, apart from rare exceptions such as the planting of trees, Living Waters Park will seek positive social impacts through corporate donations and the creation of employment. Eco-effectiveness, socio-effectiveness, sufficiency, and eco-equity are four objective criteria this sustainable development will attain.
The project has been designed to be completed in phases. The design philosophy was to create a place that celebrates people and nature, bring community and family together in a special place, and begin development of the area in a way that enhances and preserves the opportunities for existing residents.
Phase 1 of Living Waters Park Development will incldue Yacht Club with dock  and boat storage, Bait & Tackle Shop.  All indoor and outdoor facilities plus amenities are designed to provide the adventure,  FF&E, recreational activities, and community development, to meet current market demands coupled with the following revenue-generating components.
Phase 2 of Living Waters Park Development  will include Kids Corral with bus parking, Discovery Woods and Adventure Playground, Sports court, Oaksfield Pavillion, Botanical Gardens, Orchard Great Lawn, Shoreview Amphitheater, Garden-on-the-Lake, Village Creek Lodge, Reflecting Pond, Caddo Crossing and Waterfall Chapel.
Living Waters Park Chapel will host weddings, memorial services, concerts and like events. Erected with organic architecture it embraces colorful expressions and brings quality of life, reducing ecological impacts. It emphasizes the relationship of the expansive backdrop of the lake, promoting harmony between human habitation and the natural world through design so sympathetic and well integrated with its site; it becomes part of a unified, interrelated composition. It is perfect to enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors and tranquil relaxation of the water. Frosted acrylic panel walls are set into the concrete walls and will flow with water on the east side to capture the changing colors of the sky as the sun sets closer to the horizon. Just as the stained glass transforms the light of the sun to create pattern and texture, the translucent panels monitor the passage of time through the spectrum of color on vertical surfaces. It will generate funds to further develop Living Waters Park.
LWPC is a low impact development, working with nature to manage stormwater, thereby preserving and recreating natural landscape features that treat stormwater as resource versus waste. LWPC will use as bioretention , rain gardens, and permeable pavements. "Green infrastructure" is used to mimic natural processes to the return water to the atmosphere either through evaporation or by plants). LWP will sustain, and preserve existing geology vegetation and wildlife with insects and small animals as natural predators of the mosquito, such as the dragonfly, reducing the number of mosquitoes, encouraging them, to a certain degree, to control the pesky mosquitoes. Atmosphere conducive to birds, water fowl and native plants to the site are incorporated to provide beautiful aesthetics, wedding pictures and funeral solace, but have been planned to create a predator habitat.
Nowhere in the country is there an outdoor chapel with a water theme in the construction. There is something very sacred take out extra space about water. Whether or not you are religious or of faith, we all recognize flowing water as such that bears life. The name Living Waters eludes to the celebration of life with community, friends, family, marriage, and posthumously. Society is accustomed to the concept of themed weddings, but LWPC will also offer opportunities for themed memorial services. If the person had a very specific interest, the site around the chapel can be adapted so that it fits the needs, to represent that of a golf course, baseball field, art gallery or beach. Think about how the person spent his or her time and how he or she would want to be remembered. This will not only offer service to the community and beyond, but provide a catalyst for other lucrative and compatible development interest in the East Fort Worth area.
The goal is DEBT FREE.
