Living with Crohn’s-hope for Brooke

My sweet little niece, Brooke Lavigne,  was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease earlier this year. Brooke is a spunky, charismatic, bright little girl who has quite the personality! She began to run high fevers towards the end of 2017, and no one could figure out why. She was hospitalized multiple  times within a short period of time, and was finally given the diagnosis of Crohn’s. Since then, she has been on multiple different medications, including weekly injections. None of the medications were strong enough to treat Brooke’s Crohn’s, so she’s now having to get monthly infusions at St. Louis Children’s hospital. As you can imagine, the medical bills have piled up for her parents. Originally, Brooke was on insurance thru her dad’s work.  After Tara and Josh(Brooke’s parents) met their out of pocket maximum, Josh’s company changed ownership, and insurance companies. So, they had to start all over again with paying for the medical bills. The monthly payments are high, and the bills are only going to keep coming. Tara is a preschool special ed teacher, and Josh is a veteran of the US Marine Corp, who currently works in construction sales.  They are hardworking, good people, just trying to do the best they can for their daughter. Any help that you can offer will go straight to their medical bills, so that Brooke’s parents  can continue to pay for her treatments as needed. Your thoughts and prayers are also very appreciated!
