Live Out Loud

On March 14th Live Out Loud and Thank You for Coming Out are partnering up for a night of exciting storytelling and improv...all proceeds benefitting Live Out Loud's work to inspire and empower LGBTQ youth by connecting them to role models and resources.  

A student from our program says: “Live Out Loud and my GSA provide a sense of unity—of no longer feeling alone. I can speak the way I want to speak and say what I want to say. I can’t do that in any of my classes or even at home. Now I know I’m not the only one.”

Thank You For Coming Out is a fabulously funny, monthly improv show that features two different coming out stories, each followed by an improv set (one musical).   The stories you hear and the scenes you see are heartfelt, sometimes heart-wrenching, vulnerable, hilarious, fun, loving and supportive. We have a rotating cast of LGBTQ improvisers of all levels from all over New York City - our actors range from newbies to Broadway sensations!

Live Out Loud is raising money for:

-Production of a documentary that tells the story of Live Out Loud's Homecoming Project

-Live Out Loud's Trailblazer Scholarship Program - scholarships of $10,000 will be awarded to three LGBTQ youth who have demonstrate leadership, courage and achievement.

-Live Out Loud's High School Program Part-time Facilitator, whose employment increases the number of high schools that Live Out Loud can work with.
