I am the radio station OWNER of INDIE RADIO www.liveandloudradio.com.
Since 12. 05. 12 we are a STATE of the ART internet radio station, broadcasting via state of the art software, Centova™ used by much of the broadcast industry in turn creating Otto 2.0™, our resident Auto DJ who performs and streams the very best ROCK&ROLL you ever/never heard from the past 4 decades in HD quality digital audio when we are not broadcasting LIVE.
Why? YOU the listener deserve the most OPTIMIZED listening experience we can provide.
The majority of the money raised going forward will be for design and development of an APP to stream our station and request music you want to hear during LIVE radio shows.
Music also costs money. Otto 2.0™ is the home to 30gb of music or roughly 125 hrs or 7500 tracks of non-stop, digital quality music. With subscription services added for LIVE broadcasts we have access to 10 million songs for broadcast.
30% of our playlist is dedicated to struggling, unsigned musicians looking for a break into the music business. We strongly SUPPORT the INDIE artist.
We are a fully licensed radio station and we pay royalties to all published artists we provide airplay for via ASCAP, SESAC, SOCAN and BMI.
We are 3 people DEDICATED to making this work. We are each averaging a 60hr work week each, all with NO pay.
Our current overhead costs and the remainder of this campaign is for music, expenses including legal and financial consultants, art design, equipment, cable, servers, music hosts, subscription services, website, office supplies and merchandise.
We depend on people who support the rock&roll, metal, alternative, punk and indie music scene to keep us rockin' 24-7.
