My name is David Acevedo a local Bay Area director,producer & actor.I'am the Artistic Director
for Sf city theatre company & Teatro Latino based in
San Francisco,CA.
I'am raising funds for the new theater stages based
at The Clarion Music Performing Art Center located
at 816 Sacramento St.San Francisco,CA.
My campaign for funds will be used for stage lighting
@ both stages.
We have remodeled The Clarion Music Performing Art Center by adding two separate theatre stages, an art gallery & the remodeling of The Clarion Music School which has been functioning in the community for more than 20 years, providing piano,violin & voice lessons
to the youth & adults as well.
The stages are ready for theatre productions, live music, poetry readings, children's theatre & student recitals.
we have had much success with our volunteers in donating there time & experience with remodeling and
upgrading the facility.
The city of San Francisco recognizes The Center as a
Legacy Business and our Supervisor Aaron Peskin has
graciously visited The Center with a Certificate of Recogniton in the Chinatown Community.
We are the very first multi-cultural arts center
in The Chinatown Community ever, therefore HISTORY
is being made by coming together with the entire
Bay Area community.
This year 2017, I personally make my 30th year mark in the world of live theatre, I'am a graduate of
The American Theatre Conservatory here in San Francisco,CA. I began forming theatre companies in 1998 and I can say it has taking all this time to finally have a location where I can call home for theatrical productions. Not only will I be producing live theatre,
my participation at The Clarion will include producing
Opera, Music, Poetry & Theatre workshops for both children and adults.
Our goal is to establish a season and schedule acts that
are eager to perform at The Clarion, but our lighting is the very last addition that remains crucial, without this

of an Art Multi-Cultural Center for our community.
