Hello everyone!

We are in the process of starting a coffee cart that partners with nonprofits that house women and children out of human trafficking, addiction, and prostitution. The goal of these nonprofits is to provide these survivors with long-term housing, jobs, and a community that encourages growth.

We are SO passionate about long-term healing and truly believe it is the greatest solution to changing these women's lives, while also giving them incredible communities to grow and find relationships in. Our goal is to provide the victims in recovery with more job opportunities working with our mobile coffee cart. We, of course,  want to make sure we successfully get it up and running before employing anyone else.

With our support, these organizations will be able to provide more housing opportunities for women in recovery. We hope to educate and raise awareness about what human trafficking looks like in America and in our city today. Many people are unaware of how prevalent and real this is in most major cities in our country. Around the world today, there are approximately 20 to 30 million slaves. 80% of trafficking involves sexual exploitation, and 19% involves labor exploitation. According to the U.S. State Department, 600,000 to 800,000 people are trafficked across international borders every year, of which 80% are females, and half are children. The average age a teen enters into the sex trade industry in the U.S. is 12 to 14 years-old; many of these victims are runaways.

One of our goals is to be very transparent with where your donations will be going. Right now these are our current needs and cost estimates to get our cart up and running:
Cart: $1,000-$2,000
Equipment: $15,000
Products (coffee, tea, etc): $2,000
Supplies: $2,000

The organizations we will be donating directly to are:

Thistle Farms: A local nonprofit in Nashville that provides housing, jobs, and safe community for women who have survived human trafficking, addiction, and prostitution.
A21: A worldwide organization that is striving to end human trafficking by rescuing, housing, and fighting to change laws to eradicate human trafficking.

We are SO passionate and SO excited about this opportunity. Any and every donation is very much appreciated and YOU are helping to make a difference!

Thank you,
