Littleton’s Council on Aging Needs our Help!
The COA Department of Elder and Human Services is a team of committed staff and volunteers dedicated to identifying and responding to the physical and emotional needs of our town’s seniors and as our senior population lives longer and grows larger these needs are increasing ten-fold!
The COA provides 500+ rides PER MONTH using its own vans and drivers and serves Littleton, Acton, Maynard, and Boxborough. This vital service to our community is already utilized at maximum capacity and the fund which supports this program is experiencing a shortage of $6,000.00! We need your help Littleton to bridge this funding cap and save this essential service for our elderly population!
Our initial goal is to raise $3,000.00 by December 31, 2016. Our Ultimate goal is to raise $6,000.00! 100% of the proceeds raised will go directly to the COA transporation fund.
Littleton is a community that cares and we always step-up to help when needed. This time it's the COA that needs our help. Let's rally to support this cause so we can save a vital service to our community!
